Kid-Friendly Wineries near Oregon’s Dundee Hills | Willamette Valley Family Videographer

If you’re a mom with littles in tow—whether you’ve got a newborn nestled in a carrier or a busy toddler chasing butterflies—you might think wine tasting is a chapter of life reserved for later. But here in the Dundee Hills, where vineyard views meet family-friendly charm, you can absolutely enjoy a glass of Pinot while your little one plays safely nearby.

I’ve gathered a list of wineries that welcome kids (and Tired Moms) !

1. Stoller Family Estate (Dayton, OR)

Why moms love it: Wide open lawn, a tire swing, picnic tables, and plenty of space to spread out.
Why kids love it: There’s space to run, and yes—a tire swing!

Stoller is the ultimate family-friendly winery. It has a welcoming, casual vibe and plenty of outdoor space for your littles to roam while you sip. You can bring your own picnic to enjoy on the lawn area, which makes it perfect for picky toddler eaters or baby snacks.

In the summer, they open up an outdoor bar, and they also offer non-alcoholic drinks, including a refreshing non-alcoholic frosé. I sometimes go there with my kid, share the non-alcoholic drink, and enjoy the laid-back vibe while watching him play.

Adirondack chairs are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, or you’re welcome to bring your own lawn chairs and blankets to set up your own cozy spot on the grass.

2. Durant Vineyards at Red Ridge Farms – Dayton, OR

Why moms love it: It’s a one-stop destination—wine, olive oil tasting, plant shopping, nature trail, and epic views.
Why kids love it: Sheep and wide paths to explore.

From May through October, you can explore the Durant Nature Trail—a moderate, one-mile loop that takes you through vineyards, a sheep pasture, old-growth forest, lavender fields, olive groves, and right back to the main farm. It’s a peaceful and engaging way for you to explore nature with your kids.

One of my favorite events at Durant is the Olio Nuovo Festival in November. Olio Nuovo is the freshest extra virgin olive oil—pressed and bottled immediately after harvest. Unlike traditional olive oils, it’s unfiltered, cloudy, and bursting with vibrant, bold flavor. It’s such a fun and delicious way to kick off the holiday season.

The gift shop is full of locally made treasures, and the nursery is fun to wander. Don’t skip their seasonal events like Pumpkin Palooza in October!

3. Sokol Blosser Winery – Dundee, OR

Why moms love it: Beautiful views, relaxed vibe, and live music in the summer.
Why kids love it: Open space to roam.

Sokol Blosser offers a peaceful and scenic experience that’s just as enjoyable for parents as it is manageable with little ones. During the summer months, they host music nights—a calm and beautiful way to wind down the day with a glass of wine in hand and a baby on your hip (or dancing barefoot on the grass).

You can buy wine and pizza during events. And yes, kids are very welcome.

4. Brooks Winery – Amity, OR

Why moms love it: Gorgeous views, a laid-back atmosphere, non-alcoholic tasting flights, and thoughtfully paired seasonal dishes.
Why kids love it: Lawn games and garden paths to explore.

Brooks is one of those hidden gems that feels both refined and relaxed—perfect for families looking for a calm, unpretentious outing. The upper level offers beautiful views to enjoy while you sip, and the lower level provides easy access to the garden, where kids can safely wander and explore while you relax.

One of the coolest features? They offer non-alcoholic tasting flights, so even if you’re pregnant or skipping wine, you can still enjoy a tasting experience. Their seasonally-focused menu comes with suggested wine pairings, so it’s a delicious and approachable way to experience Oregon’s bounty.

The lawn area has games like cornhole, and the staff is welcoming to families.

5. Abbey Road Farm – Carlton, OR

Why moms love it: A charming, relaxed environment with farm animals.
Why kids love it: Friendly farm animals!

Abby Road Farm is a fun and unique place for families, especially those with little ones who love animals. It’s an authentic working farm where kids can interact with friendly farm animals like goats, chickens, and ducks.

They host fun events throughout the year—but our absolute favorite is the Holiday Lights Wine Walk. My son loves watching all the beautiful holiday decorations while we enjoy a glass of wine, making it the perfect way to celebrate the season as a family.
